Human before engineer.
I have been writing software for two decades. Started young, kept going. I work best on problems where the engineering matters and the stakes are real: production systems, AI integration that actually reaches users, civic platforms with public accountability, and framework-level tools that other engineers rely on.
I founded Level09 Studios in 2005. Since then my work has spanned enterprise systems for international media groups, Bayanat, the human rights documentation platform I built for SJAC, and the open-source projects that put my name on the map.
Today I work independently from Berlin, remote and flexible. I take backend and AI work from written scope to production and hand it over documented. The rest of my hours go to the open-source projects on the work page.
Outside the keyboard: gym, badminton, coffee, the city.
